With a transflective display, ambient light is reflected and the display image can be seen without the backlight turning on, making it an excellent technology choice for outdoor applications like GPS units, smartwatches and interphones. Power consumption is also reduced since the backlight is now not always on.
By innovating the color filter layer and optimizing the backlight unit, the display achieves better color performance and NTSC values reach nearly 100% (CIE1931). These quantum displays can display 20% more color gamut than an ordinary display.
In-cell touch technology
Full In-cell touch integrates the touch layer and the display which achieves a simplified module structure. Display performance is enhanced and the surrounding bezel is reduced, giving more active area.
Flexible AMOLED display
Flexible displays will be the mainstream display technology for the next generation of smartphones and wearable devices.
2K HD display
A 5.5" display with 1080p has 404 ppi. With the 2K display, the ppi is increased to 538 ppi, providing more image details and exceptional display performance.
UV photo alignment
Compared to conventional PI rubbing, the UV photo alignment process can achieve a more uniform PI layer and liquid crystal orientation. Combined with negative liquid crystal, better performances are achieved.
